We are seeking a passionate and energetic 7th Grade Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will inspire students to explore the wonders of science through engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and innovative instructional strategies. Duties

• Develop and deliver comprehensive science lessons aligned with NC curriculum standards.
• Design and implement hands on activities
• Utilize learning technology tools to create interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and class participation; provide timely feedback to support growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to foster a positive learning environment that encourages inquiry and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and integrating new scientific research into lessons.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience teaching middle school science or related subjects with demonstrated success in engaging students in scientific inquiry.
• Proficiency in using educational technology platforms for lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment purposes.
• Familiarity with classroom management strategies, special education accommodations, and behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administration; strong proofreading skills for instructional materials.

Valid NC Educator's License

Pay: $50,251.91 - $71,071.00 per year
