About the student

• 9th grade student
• The student needs to work with a tutor to prepare for the CLT-10 exam. The family is asking for a credentialed teacher to meet the requirements of the Step Up Scholarship.
• The student is a homeschooled 9th grader needing assistance with the CLT test. The student needs to pass the CLT test in order to stay within grade level, as well as, to maintain Step Up Scholarship. The student needs assistance reviewing ELA including reading and writing skills.
• The goal is for the student to be well prepared for CLT test.
• The family is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 2pm-7pm, any day Monday through Friday. (If the tutor can support the student in 9th grade math and ELA it would be 2 hours sessions 2 times a week.)
• The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Kissimmee between Vance Harmon Park and Andrew's Park.

CLT Exam: Classic Learning Test (CLT) provides academic assessments for Grades 3-12 that evaluate reading, grammar, writing, and mathematics

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching test prep.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching ELA.
• Ideal candidates will be a credentialed teacher.
• Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 2:00pm-7:00pm

Pay & Benefits

• $26.00-$32.00 per hour
