Position Summary:
BASES is seeking a compassionate and committed ABA Therapist (Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental challenges, and will demonstrate a passion for helping children reach their full potential through structured, individualized behavioral programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a HOD and Clinical Director
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with children to teach communication, social, self-help, and academic skills.
  • Follow treatment plans designed to reduce challenging behaviors and increase positive behaviors.
  • Collect and record data on each child's progress during sessions.
  • Assist in developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, parents, and other team members regarding the child’s progress and needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance therapy techniques and professional development.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children at all times.
  • Follow ethical guidelines and best practices as outlined by the BACB and BASES policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (preferred).
  • RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) IBT (International Behavior Therapist) certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and data collection methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
