We are looking for an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Executive to join our team at the Biotechnological Production Facility (AbdiBio) on the Esenyurt campus.
The requirements for the successful candidate are:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics) or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in regulated industries (preferably pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar)
• Proven experience in Lean / Six Sigma–based efficiency and process optimization projects
• Green/Black Belt certification(s) preferred
• Knowledge and practical experience in GMP, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems preferred
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Job Description
• Lead Operational Excellence efforts and continuous improvement projects across AbdiBio.
• Lead and implement Lean-based continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, VSM), and manage operational and business development initiatives in line with PMI/PMP methodology, including full project documentation (Project Charter, Scope, RACI, Risk Register, Lessons Learned).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics, to analyze end-to-end processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Establish and manage KPI-driven performance systems by defining and tracking key metrics (e.g., OEE, lead time, cycle time, cost/benefit, productivity) and conducting deviation analyses to determine improvement actions.
• Coordinate training programs to raise awareness of Operational Excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
• Conduct process cost analyses and develop projects to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency.
• Prepare and provide regular reports.
