A/C and Appliances Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled A/C and Appliances Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of domestic and commercial appliances. The successful candidate will ensure that all appliances operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on household and commercial appliances.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, and electronic components of appliances.
• Install, test, and commission appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cookers, microwaves, water dispensers, and other related equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal appliance performance.
• Replace defective parts and components using approved repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and repair documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors, service teams, and customers to complete assigned work efficiently.
• Ensure proper use of tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and safety procedures.
• Provide basic guidance to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of appliances.

Requirements

• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Appliances Technician or Service Technician.
• Strong knowledge of appliance diagnostics, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and service manuals.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and appliance servicing procedures.
• Good problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing major home appliances and white goods.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, thermostats, control boards, and electronic controls.
• Experience with commercial kitchen and laundry equipment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with smart appliances and modern diagnostic tools.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.
