Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AC Duct Supervisor with minimum 8 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for supervising duct fabrication and installation works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise fabrication and installation of HVAC ducting systems (GI, PI, MS, SS ducts).
• Ensure installation as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Supervise installation of:
• Supply, return, and exhaust air ducts
• Fresh air and smoke extraction ducts
• Kitchen exhaust and shaft riser ducts
• Monitor duct supports, hangers, and vibration isolators installation.
• Ensure proper installation of fire-rated ducts and fire/smoke dampers.
• Coordinate with HVAC engineers, MEP team, and other trades at site.
• Ensure proper insulation works (thermal and acoustic).
• Supervise air distribution components such as diffusers, grilles, VAV boxes, and dampers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements (Civil Defense, municipality regulations).
• Monitor site manpower and subcontractor performance.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards.
• Ensure all works comply with HSE policies and safety regulations.
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide progress updates.
• Support testing, commissioning, and air balancing activities.
• Maintain daily progress reports and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in HVAC or Mechanical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in high-rise construction projects (UAE mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of duct fabrication standards (SMACNA standards preferred).
• Ability to read HVAC shop drawings and coordination drawings.
• Experience in managing duct fabrication workshop and site teams.
• Knowledge of fire-rated duct installation as per UAE Civil Defense standards.
• Strong leadership and manpower handling skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in residential and commercial tower projects in UAE.
• Familiarity with authority approvals such as:
• Dubai Civil Defence
• DEWA
• SEWA
• Experience in handling large-scale duct risers and shaft coordination.
• Knowledge of HVAC testing & commissioning procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
