AC Maintenance Technician – DX Units Specialist (816)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled AC Maintenance Technician to join our Service department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 Experience in the same field.
• Good Communication Skills with client and team. Able to speak basic Arabic.
• Valid Kuwait Transferrable Visa and Kuwait Driving License.
• Able to join immediately and can work on flexible timings.
• Can solve any type of troubleshooting – mechanical or control.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Attention to safety (electrical and refrigerant handling)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on DX units (package units, split ACs, rooftop units, etc.).
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults (compressors, fans, belts, bearings, refrigerant leaks).
• Diagnose and resolve control system faults (thermostats, pressure switches, contactors, relays, control wiring, PCBs).
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Carry out refrigerant recovery, evacuation, recharging, and brazing per safety standards.
• Use multimeters, clamp meters, pressure gauges, and recovery machines.
• Coordinate with service supervisor for breakdowns and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain service logs and report recurring issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on DX units, including package units, split ACs, and rooftop units.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues with compressors, fans, belts, bearings, and refrigerant leaks.
• Identify and resolve control system faults, such as thermostat, pressure switch, contactor, relay, control wiring, and PCB problems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting.
• Conduct refrigerant recovery, evacuation, recharging, and brazing processes adhering to safety standards.
• Utilize various tools and equipment, including multimeters, clamp meters, pressure gauges, and recovery machines.
• Coordinate with the service supervisor regarding breakdowns and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain detailed service logs and report any recurring issues or patterns.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially regarding electrical and refrigerant handling.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with clients and the team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ITI or holding a Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Kuwait driving license for efficient mobility.
• Ability to start immediately and work flexible hours.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills for mechanical and control system issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Independent work ethic and field experience.
• Attention to safety, especially with electrical and refrigerant handling.
• Good communication skills for client and team interaction.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
