Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Marine Technician – HVACR to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems onboard marine vessels. The role involves hands-on technical work, inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely in accordance with company and marine standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarine HVACR Maintenance & Technical Support

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems onboard vessels.
• Diagnose system faults and carry out corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment efficiency and safe operation.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of HVACR and related marine systems.
• Monitor system performance and report any abnormalities or improvement recommendations.

Inspection, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and marine regulations.
• Follow approved procedures while working onboard vessels and at offshore locations.
• Identify potential safety risks and report them immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Documentation & Reporting

• Document all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities accurately.
• Prepare service reports and submit updates to the supervisor.
• Maintain records of work performed, system condition, and spare parts usage.

Operational Support

• Work effectively in vessel-based and offshore environments.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and vessel crew during maintenance activities.
• Support urgent repairs and breakdown response when required.
• Assist with day-to-day technical operations as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

• Vessel-based and offshore working environment.
• May involve travel and flexible working hours depending on operational requirements.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures is mandatory.
