AC Plumbing and Piping Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Plumbing and Piping Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and piping systems specifically related to HVAC and refrigeration units. You must have a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques, safety regulations, and a proven track record of successful work in this field.

• Key Responsibilities

Installation & Repair: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various types of piping for air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including copper, PVC, and other materials.

Pipefitting: Accurately measure, cut, bend, and join pipes using techniques like soldering, brazing, and threading to ensure secure, leak-free connections.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with piping systems, including leaks, blockages, and pressure problems.

System Knowledge: Have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including the flow of refrigerant, water, and gas through pipes and coils.

Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine system layouts and material requirements.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on systems, including pressure testing, flushing lines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety codes.

Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.

• Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in AC plumbing and piping.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in soldering, brazing, and pipefitting. Knowledge of hydraulic and fluid dynamics principles is a plus.

• GCC Experience: Prior work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is preferred.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and at heights.

Communication: Strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate with team members and address issues effectively.
