AC Technician

• 5 years of experience in Operation and maintenance
• Diploma and experience in chiller systems
• Immediate Joiner
• Preferably Omani national

Key Responsibilities:-

• Installation:Install new air conditioning and HVAC systems and components according to plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintenance:Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan. This includes cleaning, adjusting, and testing equipment.
• Repair:Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems, replacing or mending defective parts like compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• System Assessment:Assess the needs of a system, identify potential issues, and conduct follow-up appointments for maintenance checks.
• Safety:Ensure systems are safe to operate by performing inspections, checking for hazards, and working in compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ductwork and Piping:Install, repair, and test ductwork and piping systems, sometimes involving cutting, threading, and bending pipes.
• Customer Service:Communicate effectively with clients, provide quotes for services, and build positive customer relationships.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including the equipment used and actions taken.

Skills and Knowledge:-

• Technical Skills:Strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems, including how to read blueprints and use diagnostic tools.
• Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude:Ability to diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical problems within AC units.
• Problem-Solving:Ability to identify and troubleshoot complex system faults and find effective solutions.
• Trade Skills:Proficiency in tasks such as welding, soldering, and brazing pipes, as well as using various trade tools.
• Refrigerant Handling:Experience with refrigerants and other chemicals used in AC systems.
• Regulatory Compliance:Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC installation and maintenance.
