AC Technician

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems and related equipment in buildings and facilities to ensure efficient operation and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems (Split, Package, Ducted, and Central AC units).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning systems.
• Perform repair or replacement of defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Check and maintain refrigerant levels; ensure proper leak testing and recharging.
• Clean condensers, evaporators, and filters as part of scheduled maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and reports.
• Comply with safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Support other maintenance team members for facility-related repairs when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma / ITI in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility management or building maintenance (preferably in GCC).
• Hands-on experience with various HVAC systems (split units, package units, chillers, etc.).
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and tools.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,800.00 per month
