Job PurposeTo ensure the effective implementation, monitoring, and compliance of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards across school civil maintenance projects, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with local regulations and client requirements, particularly in Arabic-speaking school environments.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and work instructions at site.</li><li>Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Qatar HSE laws, and school safety standards.</li><li>Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions in Arabic.</li><li>Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Monitor PPE usage, work permits, and safety signage.</li><li>Monitor quality of civil maintenance works such as:</li><li>Masonry &amp; plaster works</li><li>Painting &amp; finishing</li><li>Tiling &amp; flooring</li><li>Waterproofing</li><li>Carpentry &amp; gypsum works</li><li>Ensure work execution complies with approved method statements, drawings, and specifications.</li><li>Conduct quality inspections and snag-list closures.</li><li>Maintain quality records and inspection checklists.</li><li>Ensure proper waste management and disposal.</li><li>Control dust, noise, and environmental hazards within school premises.</li><li>Promote environmentally responsible practices.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance activities comply with school safety regulations.</li><li>Coordinate closely with school administrators, supervisors, and FM teams.</li><li>Ensure safe working methods around students, teachers, and staff.</li><li>Handle safety communication in Arabic with school management.</li><li>Maintain Safety reports</li><li>Incident investigation reports</li><li>Inspection checklists</li><li>Training records</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QHSE reports.</li><li>Ensure documentation compliance for client audits and ISO standards.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; ExperienceEducation<ul><li>Diploma / Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in:</li><li>Safety Engineering</li><li>Environmental Science</li><li>NEBOSH / IOSH preferred</li></ul>Certifications (Preferred)<ul><li>NEBOSH IGC</li><li>IOSH Managing Safely</li><li>First Aid &amp; Fire Safety Training</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 07 years of QHSE experience</li><li>Minimum 2 years in School Maintenance / Facility Management / Civil Maintenance</li><li>Experience working in active school environments is highly preferred</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Fluent in Arabic (Mandatory)</li><li>Good command of English (reading &amp; writing)</li><li>Strong knowledge of HSE laws in Qatar</li><li>Excellent communication &amp; reporting skills</li><li>Strong inspection, audit &amp; risk assessment capability</li><li>Ability to handle school safety environments professionally</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI)</li><li>Accident-free working environment</li><li>100% compliance with HSE &amp; quality procedures</li><li>Timely submission of reports</li><li>High client &amp; school satisfaction</li></ul>Working Environment<ul><li>Active school buildings</li><li>Civil maintenance sites</li><li>Office &amp; site-based work</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How soon you can join after selection ?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Maintenance: 7 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Arabic (Required)</li></ul>

QHSE Officer (Arabic)

Job SummaryThe MEP Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings for building construction projects. The role involves developing shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination layouts, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings based on approved design drawings and specifications</li><li>Develop coordination drawings (MEP with Civil &amp; Architectural) to avoid clashes</li><li>Produce HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical, and ELV system drawings</li><li>Prepare as-built drawings and revise drawings as per site changes</li><li>Ensure drawings comply with local authority standards and project requirements</li><li>Assist engineers in reviewing design changes and incorporating revisions</li><li>Perform quantity take-offs from drawings when required</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and drawing control</li><li>Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors</li><li>Support project teams during submission and approval processes</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Drafting</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years&rsquo; experience as an MEP Draftsman in building construction projects</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit / BIM knowledge is an advantage)</li><li>Strong understanding of MEP systems and building construction standards</li><li>Knowledge of local regulations and authority submission requirements</li><li>Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong technical drawing and detailing skills</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good coordination and teamwork abilities</li><li>Time management and ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Problem-solving and technical understanding</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Office and site-based work environment</li><li>Project-based deadlines and coordination meetings</li></ul>Job Type: Permanent
