AC Technician

Shiny Surface is looking for a skilled AC Technician to join our technical team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, along with excellent troubleshooting skills. You will be responsible for providing high-quality AC services to residential and commercial clients while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesHVAC Installation & Repair

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair AC systems (split units, window ACs, ducted ACs, central ACs).
• Diagnose faults in compressors, motors, coils, fans, ducts, thermostats, and wiring.
• Perform AC servicing including chemical cleaning, gas refilling, filter replacement, and coil cleaning.
• Detect refrigerant leaks and repair or replace defective parts.
• Handle AC electrical wiring, PCB issues, and control system repairs.

Maintenance & Preventive Care

• Conduct routine AC maintenance visits for clients.
• Identify potential future faults and recommend preventive actions.
• Ensure all systems operate efficiently to reduce energy consumption.

Customer Service & Communication

• Visit customer locations and provide clear explanations of issues and solutions.
• Deliver professional, polite, and efficient service at all times.
• Complete job reports, maintenance forms, and updates through the Shiny Surface mobile app.
• Provide customers with advice on AC usage, maintenance, and performance improvement.

Operational & Safety Responsibilities

• Follow company safety protocols and Dubai HVAC standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Work closely with dispatch team for daily scheduling.
• Ensure all work is performed with high quality and professionalism.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years experience as an AC Technician in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of AC systems, HVAC components, and electrical circuits.
• Ability to diagnose and fix cooling issues quickly and accurately.
• Skilled in gas refilling (R22, R410a, R32 etc.).
• Knowledge of ducting, insulation, and central AC systems (preferred).
• Ability to use HVAC tools (manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, leak detectors).
• UAE driving license is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple daily jobs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with major AC brands (Samsung, LG, Carrier, Daikin, Panasonic, Midea, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in hot environments and lift heavy equipment.
• Multilingual ability (English, Urdu/Hindi).
