A/C Technician

TIME Express Hotel is currently looking for energetic and passionate candidates for a A/c Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate, preferably with previous experience in a similar role in reputed hospitality organizations and the ability to fulfill the following core responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Repairs, maintains and provides technical attention to all Electrical, Mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel – walk in freezer, fridges, Ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.
• Maintains preventively all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems at the hotel.
• Checks on performance of refrigeration systems and components.

• Verifies all door closing systems on walk in coolers/freezer (door gaskets/latches).
• Checks and maintains all defrosting systems and automation of ice-makers.
• Works on maintenance request from all departments.

• Ensures routine cleaning of Fan-coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Checks on performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.

• Cooperates with all engineering staff in detention of failures of air-condition and refrigeration system and function set up.

• Strict control on venting of CFC’s to atmosphere.

• Overhauling of air-condition/refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Checks all refrigeration and oil levels and control of major repairs.
• Controls and ensures the storage of ice when bans are full and not in use.

• Cooperates and informs Engineering store keeper on purchase of parts.

• Work will be performed under normal and emergency conditions as and when necessary.

• All works are to be carried out as per the country technical regulations and safety standards. If in doubt, consult your superior.

• To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.

• To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.

• To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
• To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
• To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.

• To pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.

• To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.

• To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.

• To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
• To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
