AC Technician

An air conditioning (AC) technician installs, maintains, and repairs cooling systems. Key duties include diagnosing mechanical or electrical faults, performing routine maintenance, and replacing broken parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Set up new split, window, or central AC units, connect wiring, and run test runs.
• Maintenance: Wash coils, clear drain lines, clean filters, and check refrigerant gas levels.
• Repair: Find electrical or refrigerant leaks, solder pipes, and swap out faulty compressors, fans, or circuit boards.
• Documentation: Record parts used and log completed work orders. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma plus a technical certificate or trade school training in HVAC.
• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of hands-on repair and maintenance work.
• Skills: Know how to use multimeters and manifold gauges, read wiring diagrams, and lift heavy tools.

Pay: BD200.000 - BD230.000 per month
