We are seeking a skilled A/C Technician to carry out the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems within facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems while maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for facility occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems, including air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), chillers, split units, package units, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Monitor HVAC system performance and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of HVAC equipment.
- Attend to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests promptly.
- Ensure proper operation of temperature control systems, thermostats, and associated HVAC controls.
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment logs.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ITI Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Operations & Maintenance of MEP systems and Facilities Management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, air distribution systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience in healthcare facilities maintenance will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, and BMS-controlled HVAC systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and HVAC safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance situations.
