Job Type: Part-time

Subject : Math and ELA

Grade: K to 12th grade

Location: Alpharetta (30004), Milton (30009), and Duluth (30097).

Job Duties:

  • Assist students in targeted subject areas via individual or group tutoring
  • Host workshops on selected topics
  • Model and encourage collaborative study strategies
  • Create and manage resources
  • Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment
  • Commute to students' place of residence or meet at a public location to conduct tutoring sessions
  • Meet regularly with the supervisor
  • Expected hours:2-4 per week

Schedule:

  • After school
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, English, mathematics)
  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or education is highly desirable.
  • Patience and the ability to work with students of diverse learning styles.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to the needs of individual students.
  • Must be able to commit to schedules
  • Has a personal vehicle
  • Must be living in the area where classes are held
  • Experience with children is preferred, but not required

License/Certification:

  • Teaching Certification (Required)

Salary: $ 27.00 - $ 33.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
