Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will engage with prospective students, provide accurate information about academic programs, resolve queries, and support candidates throughout the enrollment journey. This role plays a key part in helping students make informed academic choices while achieving enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Communication: Contact prospective students through phone calls, emails, and other channels to follow up on program inquiries.
• Program Counseling: Clearly explain course details, eligibility criteria, fee structure, financial assistance options, and career prospects.
• Student Engagement: Understand students’ academic goals and provide personalized guidance to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Enrollment Assistance: Support candidates at every stage of the admission and enrollment process to ensure a smooth experience.
• Performance Targets: Achieve or exceed monthly enrollment goals and other defined performance metrics.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with admissions and academic teams to ensure efficient onboarding of new students.
• Query & Objection Handling: Address concerns professionally and provide suitable solutions to help students make confident decisions.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on program changes, education trends, and competitor offerings to provide relevant and accurate information.

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales, customer support, counseling, or similar roles (experience in education or enrollment services is an advantage).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Confident and persuasive communicator with the ability to convert leads into enrollments.
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
