Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction: Design, implement, and update curriculum; align with standards (like CBSE); develop teaching strategies; oversee lesson planning and materials.
- Faculty Support: Assist with recruitment, training, and professional development; provide guidance and support to teachers; monitor teaching quality and student outcomes.
- Student Support: Guide students on academic goals, course selection, and career paths; manage student records; address academic/behavioral issues; coordinate extracurriculars.
- Administration: Prepare academic calendars, timetables, and exam schedules; manage resources (rooms, supplies); handle data collection and reporting; ensure compliance with policies.
- Liaison & Communication: Act as a link between principals, faculty, students, parents, and external bodies; communicate policies and facilitate collaboration.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Experience: Academic administration/coordination.
- Skills: Strong organization, communication, leadership, problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with educational policies, accreditation, and academic management systems.
