Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:
- Coordinate the implementation of CBSE curriculum across all grades.
- Monitor academic plans, lesson progress, and annual academic calendar.
- Ensure effective delivery of syllabus and adherence to academic timelines.
- Provide subject-specific guidance and support to teachers.
CBSE Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all CBSE norms, circulars, and updates are understood and implemented.
- Manage timely preparation and submission of CBSE documentation (affiliation, exam-related forms, reports, etc.).
- Oversee the conduct of internal and board examinations as per CBSE norms.
Teacher Supervision & Training:
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback.
- Plan and organize professional development sessions and workshops.
- Mentor teachers in instructional strategies, assessment techniques, and CBSE evaluation patterns.
Assessment & Evaluation:
- Develop assessment strategies aligned with CBSE guidelines (including CCE if applicable).
- Analyze student performance data to improve teaching-learning outcomes.
- Guide teachers in preparing and evaluating internal assessments and projects.
Student Support:
- Identify academic support needs of students and implement intervention strategies.
- Coordinate with counselors and special educators for inclusive education.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CBSE-related academic matters.
- Liaise with CBSE officials during inspections, audits, or communications.
- Communicate curriculum changes and academic updates to parents as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Education (B.Ed / M.Ed mandatory).
- Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience; 2–3 years in a leadership or coordinator role preferred.
- Thorough understanding of CBSE curriculum, assessment patterns, and academic regulations.
- Proven experience in academic planning and teacher training.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and CBSE officials.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital platforms (like ERP, MS Office, etc.).
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
Preferred:
- Experience in handling CBSE board classes (X & XII).
- Certification in educational leadership or school management.
