We are seeking a qualified and experienced Academic Lead for the Education Department to oversee the complete academic system of the institution. The role is responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching, structured learning, and effective academic management across all levels.

The Academic Lead will supervise curriculum implementation, guide teachers, monitor student progress, and ensure consistent academic quality. The role includes managing lesson planning, examinations, assessments, and maintaining discipline and performance standards throughout the school.

A key responsibility is to develop and maintain an organized, balanced, and effective learning system that supports both strong academic outcomes and student development in a disciplined environment.

This position requires strong leadership, educational experience, and excellent organisational skills, along with a commitment to improving teaching quality and student achievement across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall academic system and ensure high teaching standards across all classes
  • Plan, implement, and monitor curriculum delivery throughout the academic year
  • Ensure timely completion of syllabus and structured lesson planning by all teachers
  • Supervise classroom teaching and maintain quality of instruction
  • Design and manage assessment systems including quizzes, monthly tests, and examinations
  • Track student academic progress and implement improvement plans for weak students
  • Train, guide, and evaluate teachers to improve performance and teaching methods
  • Conduct regular visits to As Suffa School of Excellence and Darul Inayah for department observations, academic reviews, and training sessions
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a structured learning environment
  • Develop academic calendars, schedules, and yearly planning frameworks
  • Coordinate with administration for academic reporting and parent communication
  • Identify gaps in learning outcomes and introduce corrective academic strategies
  • Ensure continuous improvement in teaching quality and student performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in teaching and academic management
  • Prior experience in a leadership role (Head of Department, Coordinator, or similar) preferred
  • Strong understanding of curriculum planning and classroom management
  • Excellent ability to monitor, evaluate, and improve teaching quality
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to design assessments, exams, and academic tracking systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain discipline and structured learning environments
  • Commitment to educational excellence and student development
  • Ability to train and mentor teachers effectively

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month
