About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Academic Mentor to join our team in Kozhikode. This pivotal role focuses on guiding students throughout their educational journey, fostering academic progress, and building strong, collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and parents.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Mentorship & Development

• Build supportive, trust-based relationships with a caseload of students, offering mentorship, guidance, and personalized advice to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
• Coordinate and facilitate student activities, clubs, and programs that enrich personal development and enhance learning experiences.
• Address student concerns, conflicts, and minor disciplinary matters in collaboration with teachers and counselors.

Academic Progress Monitoring

• Proactively track and monitor students’ academic performance and attendance.
• Conduct regular informal assessments to evaluate learning progress and curriculum understanding.
• Work closely with teachers and counselors to design and implement personalized academic intervention plans for students needing additional support.

Parent/Guardian Communication

• Maintain effective communication channels with parents/guardians, providing timely updates on students’ academic progress, behavior, and overall development.
• Organize and lead parent-teacher meetings to review performance, set goals, and identify areas of improvement.
• Address parental concerns promptly and guide them on strategies to support their child’s learning at home.

Data Management & Reporting (MIS)

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student information, including grades, attendance, assessments, and behavioral notes.
• Use Management Information Systems (MIS) and educational software to generate reports and analyze student performance for internal reviews and stakeholder updates.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and parents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (proficiency in English and the local language is an advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹16,500.00 per month
