Join our team as an Academic Provider Recruiter supporting physician recruitment in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for physician faculty, attracting top-tier talent dedicated to advancing clinical care, education, and research. You will collaborate closely with clinical and academic leadership to support the growth of our academic programs and build strong physician pipelines. This position focuses on engaging physicians who are passionate about teaching, innovation, and shaping the future of healthcare in our community. As a strategic partner, you will work across the organization and with the School of Medicine to identify and secure high-caliber candidates. Your work will directly contribute to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Position Purpose
The Provider Recruiter is responsible for all provider recruitment activities and functions to ensure a continual pipeline of high quality, excellent qualified provider candidates. Activities associated in full cycle recruitment process includes relationship building, consulting and collaboration with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs, develop and execute recruitment strategies, sourcing, conference and career fair attendance, initial candidate contact and vetting, preliminary verification and references, offer preparation, management of interview process, contract negotiations, and ensures a smooth onboarding process for new hires. The incumbent plays a crucial role in building a talented and diverse healthcare workforce to meet the organization's staffing requirements working in close collaboration with all Provider Recruitment team members, hiring leaders and Renown Medical Group Executive Leadership Team members as well as other applicable Renown Health departments involved in the hiring and onboarding process.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have working-level knowledge of English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
Experience:
Minimum of one to three years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience in a corporate or search firm environment required. Experience in healthcare industry or direct experience with physician recruitment, specialized technical or executive recruitment, or provider relations highly preferred.
License(s):
None.
Certification(s):
CPRP Certification through the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) preferred. Comparable recruitment certification may be considered in lieu of AAPPR.
Computer / Typing:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
