Academic Counselor Position Description

International Schooling is currently recruiting a committed Academic Counselor to deliver tailored guidance to students on our online education platform, promoting their academic success and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic guidance to students, enabling them to select courses that align with their interests and career aspirations.

- Offer personalized counseling to foster student success, motivation, and well-being.

- Assist parents in establishing educational goals and formulating strategies to enhance their children's academic achievement.

- Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and school administrators to meet students' academic needs.

- Conduct virtual one-on-one counseling sessions, webinars, and group discussions on academic planning as required.

- Support students in surmounting academic challenges and cultivating effective study habits.

- Keep abreast of global educational trends, career opportunities, and university admissions processes.

- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of student interactions and progress.

## Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

- Established experience in academic counseling, preferably within an online education environment.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a warm and approachable demeanor.

- Capability to connect with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

- Technical proficiency in online learning platforms and virtual communication tools.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and skill in motivating students.

- Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is advantageous)
