Academic Supervisor

A reputable private school in Muscat, Oman is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Academic Supervisor to join its educational leadership team for the upcoming academic year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the academic performance of teachers across different departments.
• Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and academic policies.Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
• Support teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, assessment methods, and classroom management.
• Analyze students’ academic performance and develop improvement plans when necessary.
• Coordinate professional development programs and training workshops for teaching staff.
• Ensure compliance with school standards, Ministry regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
• Participate in academic planning, school improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic matters when required.
• Prepare academic reports, evaluation records, and performance documentation.
• Work closely with school leadership to promote a positive and high-achieving learning environment.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching and academic supervision.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with international curricula or bilingual education systems is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of modern teaching methods, assessment practices, and educational technologies.
• Ability to mentor teachers and lead academic improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates currently residing in Oman are preferred.NOC is required for candidates currently employed in Oman.

Pay: RO1,000.000 per month
