We're seeking top-notch English and History tutors/teachers to support accelerated students in the 5th and 9th grades. The ideal teachers are knowledgeable, experienced, and professional, making learning fun, engaging, and allowing for high degrees of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging and fun lesson plans tailored to various academic levels.
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students.
• Document and communicate progress reports.
• Provide a supportive and motivating environment for students to thrive academically.
• Keep the work/classroom environment organized and clean.

Requirements:

Instructor Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor's Degree
• Teaching Credentials is a plus
• Minimum of two years of teaching/tutoring experience
• Experience working with neurodiverse students
• A fun, upbeat personality and strong interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and learning
• Impeccable time management & organization skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and compellingly
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
• Easy access to and proficiency with the Internet, email, and electronic communications
• Excellent references
• Must pass a background check
