Position: ACCA Accountant with Audit Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified ACCA Accountant with strong expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and audit handling. The ideal candidate will manage the organization’s accounting processes, conduct internal audits, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and assist in external audits. The role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Financial Accounting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

· Audit Management: Handle both internal and external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits. Review financial statements to ensure they meet audit requirements.

· Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, general ledger, and other accounts.

· Tax Compliance: Ensure that all tax-related matters are in compliance with current laws and regulations, including VAT, GST, and income tax returns.

· Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management review.

· Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as needed.

· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices are in line with local and international financial regulations, and coordinate with legal teams for necessary filings.

· Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring correct tax deductions, and compliance with statutory regulations.

· Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Assist in any other accounting or financial tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

· ACCA Qualification (or equivalent professional certification).

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards.

· Experience handling audit processes (both internal and external).

· Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).

· Ability to conduct thorough financial analysis and audits.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong communication skills to interact with management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

· High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling financial matters.

Required Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in accounting, including audit handling.

· Previous experience in managing internal and external audits is required.

Educational Qualifications:

· ACCA qualification or equivalent (e.g., CA, CPA).

· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Desired Qualities:

· Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.

· Ability to manage tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.

· Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is a plus.
