We are seeking an experienced
Access Control System (ACS) Consultant
to lead the design and delivery of
enterprise-grade, integrated physical security solutions
for large, multi-function venues such as
sports facilities, hospitals, stadiums, schools, corporate offices, and public infrastructure
.
This role focuses on
system architecture, technology selection, design validation, and large-scale integration
with multiple security and building systems.
Role Overview
The ACS Consultant will be responsible for developing
scalable, future-ready smart access control solutions
, providing strategic guidance on system design, and ensuring seamless integration with
CCTV, gate barriers, ANPR, turnstiles, BMS, and AI-enabled platforms
.
Key Responsibilities
ACS System Design & Consultancy
-
Lead
conceptual, schematic, and detailed design
of ACS solutions for multi-venue and large-scale complexes
-
Define system architectures, technology selection, verification, and integration strategies
-
Conduct
business requirements analysis, site surveys, risk assessments, and feasibility studies
-
Develop detailed design artefacts including
floor plans, device placement drawings, wiring diagrams, network topologies, and integration schematics
-
Design
access hierarchies, zone-based logic, visitor management flows, and event-driven access workflows
-
Ensure compliance with
industry standards, best practices, and local regulations
-
Design solutions that are
scalable, interoperable, and future-proof
Integration & Implementation
-
Oversee installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ACS hardware and software
-
Develop optimized
migration and upgrade strategies
from legacy systems
-
Lead integrations with:
-
CCTV / video surveillance systems
-
Gate barriers and toll gates
-
ANPR solutions for VIP, staff, and service vehicles
-
Turnstiles and credentialing systems
-
Alarm, intrusion detection, fire safety, and
BMS
-
AI platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools
-
Validate access logic, credential workflows, and interoperability through simulations and testing
Project Management
-
Lead projects from design through commissioning, including
planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
-
Interface with internal and external stakeholders
-
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (contractors, integrators, IT, and venue operations)
-
Manage project risks, milestones, deliverables, and quality assurance
-
Prepare commissioning documentation, risk assessments, and handover packages
-
Support
vendor selection, procurement, and quality control
Technical Support & Lifecycle Management

Define guidelines for
system health checks and performance monitoring
-
Develop preventive maintenance and lifecycle management strategies
-
Deliver training and consultancy to security and IT teams
-
Recommend system upgrades and design enhancements for reliability and scalability
Required Experience & Knowledge
-
Minimum 10 years
of experience in ACS design, consultancy, and system integration
-
Proven experience delivering ACS solutions for
large, multi-function venues
-
Strong background in integrating ACS with
CCTV, gate barriers, toll gates, ANPR, turnstiles, BMS
, and related systems
-
Demonstrated experience managing
multi-disciplinary, large-scale security projects
Education & Certifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Security Technology, or Information Systems

Advanced coursework in Security Systems Design preferred

Experience with credential technologies:
MIFARE, DESFire EV3, HID Seos, biometrics, mobile credentials

Ability to interpret
architectural, electrical, and low-voltage drawings
-
Proficiency with
AutoCAD and Visio
for ACS layouts and technical documentation
