As an Access Operations and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and technical support of access network platforms and related service environments, managing both front-office and back-office activities, and coordinating effectively with IP Core, Transmission, and Field Operations teams across multi-vendor networks.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and support access network platforms to ensure service availability and performance.

Handle front-office and back-office activities related to Field Operation, incidents, service assurance, coordination, and reporting.

Support implementation, integration, testing, and quality checks for access network solutions.

Coordinate with basic knowledge about IP core, transmission, field operation, and service delivery teams to resolve faults.

Troubleshoot alarms, service issues, and performance degradations, and identify root causes.

Work effectively within multi-vendor environments, including Huawei, ZTE, Nokia, Zhone and similar platforms.

Prepare accurate technical documentation, operational reports, and escalation records.

Support preventive and corrective maintenance and follow up on service-impacting issues.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related field.

0 to 3 years of relevant experience in telecom operations or access network support.

Good knowledge of FTTH, GPON, OLT/ONT, MSAN, DSL, and access network fundamentals.

Awareness of IP core and transmission domains and their interaction with access services.

Ability to work in front-office and back-office roles with strong coordination skills.

Knowledge of Field operation process, incident handling, reporting, and service assurance practices.

Basic knowledge of networking, routing, switching, alarm handling, and performance monitoring.

Working knowledge of SQL, Data Analysis, and basic programming is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
