Radio Access Network Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Back Office (BO) RAN Engineer focused on high-level troubleshooting and operational activities for Nokia or ZTE networks. You will be the primary technical escalation point for resolving critical network failures and executing complex configuration activities.

About the Role

• Expert Troubleshooting: Perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on Tier-2/3 issues, including chronic cell drops, hardware-to-software mismatches, and synchronization failures.
• Incident Management: Lead the recovery of high-priority network outages and handle emergency "crash" cases via the OSS.
• Configuration Activities: Execute mass parameter updates, frequency refarming, and script-based site re-homing.
• Trace Analysis: Conduct advanced Layer 3 analysis using internal vendor tools to diagnose signaling failures and call flow bottlenecks.
• Maintenance Windows: Manage and execute critical night-shift activities, including software patches and firmware upgrades for Nokia AirScale or ZTE BBUs.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering.
• Strong background in a NOC or Back Office environment with a focus on active troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to develop Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for complex technical activities.
• Vendor Stack: 5–8 years of BO experience with Nokia (NetAct/AirScale) or ZTE (NetNumen/UME/V9200).
