We are looking for a QA Engineer with a specialization in Accessibility to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our SaaS products are not only functional and bug-free but also fully inclusive and compliant with global accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the development team to develop test cases for a SaaS application and execute them
  • Ensure the quality of the new features and existing ones in the application, identify the issues throughout the system and report them to the development team
  • Review and analyze users stories and system specifications for validity and feasibility
  • Implement test automations
  • Do regression testing on each release
  • Implement load testing and ensure scalability
  • Provide inputs and suggestions to improve the usability of the application
  • Accessibility Testing: Integrate accessibility checks into the standard QA workflow. Conduct testing for WCAG 2.1 compliance using automated scanners and manual keyboard/screen reader checks.

Technical Requirements
  • Experience: 2–4 years in Software Testing/QA, with at least 1–2 years focused on Accessibility auditing.
  • Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and WAI-ARIA roles.
  • QA Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC, with proficiency in functional, regression, and API testing.
  • Tooling: * Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility evaluation tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse, or Wave).
  • Web Technologies: Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript as they relate to DOM structure and accessibility.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze user stories for "testability" and "inclusive design" gaps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: IAAP certifications such as CPACC or WAS are a significant plus.
  • Performance Testing: Experience in load testing and scalability analysis.
  • Empathy-Driven Testing: A deep understanding of how different disabilities (visual, motor, cognitive, auditory) interact with the web.
