Emplify Health is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Accommodations Specialist to support our commitment to an inclusive, accessible, and compliant workplace. The Accommodations Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating workplace accommodations for employees in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Major Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and manage the interactive process for employee accommodation requests.
Assess accommodation needs and identify reasonable accommodations in collaboration with employees, managers, and healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable state and local employment laws.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to accommodation requests and decisions.
Create education and training around accommodation policies and process.
Provide guidance and education to managers and employees on accommodation policies and procedures.
Collaborate with Employee & Labor Relations leadership and Legal to address complex accommodation cases.
Monitor accommodation program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary.
Stay current on changes in employment laws and best practices related to workplace accommodations.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives related to disability and accessibility.

1.0 FTE,
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days typically 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Onsite in La Crosse, WI
Compensation: Starting at $27.50/hour with opportunity for higher pay based on relevant work experience
What You'll Need:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources, employee relations, disability management, or a related area, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
At least 3 years' experience managing workplace accommodations and knowledge of ADA and FMLA regulations.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
License/ Certification: Valid Driver's License, Required and
Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or disability management certification (e.g., CDMS), Preferred
Ability to work onsite in La Crosse, WI required
