Job Title: Account Assistant

Reporting To: Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities and Functions:

· Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.

· Post and process bank statement entries, credit card transactions, and journal entries related to expenses and salaries.

· Prepare and record sales invoices accurately.

· Download utility bills, record related entries, and send reminders for upcoming due dates.

· Maintain accounts receivable and payable, and reconcile ledgers to ensure accuracy.

· Reconcile bank statements and resolve account discrepancies promptly.

· Manage petty cash transactions with proper documentation and reporting.

· Prepare TDS and PT workings in accordance with current provisions.

· Maintain systematic filing of documents, invoices, and financial report

Supporting Activities:

· Assist in preparing GST workings and related reconciliations.

· Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

· Assist during internal and statutory audits,

· Support compliance-related workings and filings.

Qualification & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

· Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

· Awareness of current Direct and Indirect Tax provisions (Income Tax, TDS, PT, GST).

· Basic knowledge of google drive and google sheets is preferred.

Years of Experience:

2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting for both companies and individuals.

Working Days

Monday to Friday

(Second & Fourth Saturdays off)

Working Time

8.30 am to 5.30pm

9.30 am to 6.30pm

(Employees working on Sundays are eligible for 1 comp off)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
