Job Summary

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance and accounting team in daily accounting operations. The role involves maintaining financial records, assisting with bookkeeping, handling invoices, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This position is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of accounting experience who are looking to grow their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting activities and bookkeeping
  • Record and maintain sales, purchase, and expense entries
  • Prepare and verify invoices, bills, and vouchers
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and cash handling
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
