Account Assistant

About Us:

We are a well-established construction company in Dubai, known for delivering high-quality projects across the UAE. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts accurately
• Assist in maintaining general ledger entries and posting journal entries
• Support bank reconciliations and monitor company bank transactions
• Maintain proper records of financial documents and ensure accurate filing
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
• Support project cost tracking and expense allocation
• Assist in VAT documentation and ensure proper record-keeping for compliance with UAE regulations
• Support payroll processing and documentation in line with WPS requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties (suppliers, banks, auditors) when required
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information in accounting systems
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE (construction industry experience is a MUST)
• Understanding of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Dynamics – Business Central (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
