Account Director

We are seeking an Account Director to join our Integrated team! This position requires someone who is entrepreneurial and is a self-motivated individual who has had a background in leading account teams, account management/new business development in an entertainment-marketing agency.

Reporting to the VP, Integrated Accounts, the person will be able to manage and grow key client relationships across the agency. In this client-facing role, this individual will be responsible for managing client relationships against a quarterly plan including project management/integration, client profitability, added value investments and organic business growth.

What you will do:

• Responsible for project scoping and planning as needed, leading the process of integrated opportunities.
• Work across various divisions of the agency as an internal capability collaborator, ensuring integrated opportunities are delivered at the highest quality on time and on budget with true creative integration.
• Drive organic growth of business with existing clients. Identify opportunities and cultivate new ideas that fit with client marketing goals and lead to business expansion by bringing awareness to broader TPG services and/or new technology and products where relevant.
• Serve as the liaison between Client and internal TPG project team while effectively managing client expectations—strategically, creatively and financially. Act as the voice of the client internally and always go beyond the brief in the delivery.
• Support the preparation of client presentations. Ensure the project team has all necessary information and materials for meetings.
• Organize and lead project meetings, including developing agendas, collaborating with producer to build project schedules, and collaborating with strategy and producer on the writing of strategic briefs and presentations.
• Contribute to the formation of annual resource plans and contractual agreements.

About you:

• 7+ years of related industry experience at a marketing or ad agency required.
• Experience with all aspects of 360 marketing campaigns, including AV, print, digital, social, and associated productions.
• Entertainment experience recommended, specifically within film and television.
• Demonstrated track record of securing new/incremental business and developing/maintaining positive client & internal team relationships.
• Strong advocacy skills on behalf of the client to internal teams and on behalf of the agency to the client, all in the name of making great work that accomplishes predetermined goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
• Communicates well both verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to wear many hats and get hands dirty when necessary.
