Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for construction projects.
- Coordinate and process vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and other project-related expenses.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, project accounts, and other ledgers.
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and accounting regulations.
- Communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Help prepare and review cash flow statements and assist in managing project cash flow.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in accounting/finance, preferably in a construction company.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Knowledge of accounting practices, contract management, and subcontractor payment processes.
