The Role

We are hiring a Government Account Executive to drive growth across state, local, and federal agencies.

This is a build role.

You will engage agencies early, shape demand before procurement begins, and position Hubstream as the solution before an RFP exists. Success in this role comes from creating opportunities, not waiting for them. You will work across law enforcement leadership, investigative units, IT, and procurement stakeholders, guiding conversations and helping agencies evaluate how investigative operations can be improved. This role offers ownership of your pipeline, clear accountability, and a direct impact on revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and develop relationships with government agencies ahead of active procurement cycles
  • Identify and engage target accounts through outbound strategy and market insight
  • Drive conversations through calls, meetings, events, and on-site engagement
  • Lead discovery and product demonstrations aligned to operational challenges
  • Build and manage pipelines from early engagement through close
  • Collaborate internally on deal strategy, positioning, and proposals (RFI/RFP support provided)
  • Maintain clear pipeline visibility and forecasting discipline
  • Represent Hubstream at select conferences and industry events, with occasional travel for company gatherings and team collaboration (approximately up to 25%)

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of SaaS sales experience selling into U.S. government (SLED and/or federal)
  • Proven ability to build sales pipelines through direct outreach and relationship development
  • Experience working with government stakeholders across operations, IT, and procurement
  • Strong understanding of government sales cycles and procurement processes

You are someone who:

  • Is comfortable building relationships from scratch and engaging early
  • Brings presence, judgment, and credibility in high-stakes conversations
  • Takes a consultative approach grounded in real operational understanding
  • Is self-directed and accountable for outcomes
  • Values preparation, clarity, and thoughtful execution

This role is best suited for individuals who prefer ownership, are comfortable operating without heavy inbound volume, and take pride in building something from the ground up.

Compensation is structured to reward performance, with a competitive base salary and uncapped commission aligned to strategic, multi-year government deals.
