Job Title: Account Manager - AON

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia



Overview:

The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and insurers, managing client accounts and delivering tailored insurance solutions. This role is responsible for assessing insurance needs, negotiating with insurers, maintaining compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, and ensuring service excellence in every client interaction.


Key Responsibilities


1. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, claims, policy renewals, and day-to-day servicing.

2. Placement

  • Analyze client risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to negotiate competitive quotes and coverage terms.
  • Prepare and present proposals, organize policy placements, and manage renewals.

3. Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure all activities comply with Insurance Authority (IA) regulations and guidelines for insurance brokers.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on the insurance industry.

4. Administration

  • Prepare reports, maintain client records, and ensure accurate policy documentation.
  • Handle premium collection, invoicing, and resolve account discrepancies.

5. Business Development

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, client meetings, and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in insurance broking or insurance companies.
  • Good understanding of the insurance market and IA regulatory landscape.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
