Roles & Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Proven experience managing client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and provide strategic direction in line with client objectives.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategies and how marketing initiatives drive business success.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly.
  • Project and Time Management: Expertise in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills for contracts, proposals, and pricing discussions.
  • Cross-Selling & Up-Selling: Ability to identify and act on opportunities to increase revenue through up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Leadership & Managerial Skills: Experience in leading teams and managing client-facing projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Brief Writing & Understanding: Competency in writing clear and concise project briefs for internal teams and clients.

Preferred Skills

  • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of how marketing impacts the overall business strategy.
  • Financial Understanding: Some knowledge of financial principles related to budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Agency Background: Previous experience in a marketing or advertising agency is a plus.
  • Grievances & Escalations: Experience handling client grievances and escalations efficiently.
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing: Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies is a plus.
