Role Summary

As Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of strategic client accounts, driving relationship excellence, commercial success, and business growth. You will act as the trusted advisor and key interface between Inception AI and its clients, ensuring value realization through effective account strategy, customer engagement, and sales expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned enterprise and government accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders and decision makers at all levels.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
  • Conduct regular account health checks and client feedback sessions to anticipate needs and mitigate risks.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for cross selling, upselling, and solution expansion within existing accounts.
  • Develop and implement tailored account strategies to increase client adoption and revenue.
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to position new AI solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Lead commercial discussions, including renewals, expansions, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop account plans that align with both client goals and Inception AI's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor project delivery, adoption metrics, and performance KPIs to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Partner with delivery teams to address issues proactively and maintain delivery excellence.
  • Provide strategic input to enhance solution delivery and customer experience.
  • Own commercial performance and profitability of assigned accounts.
  • Track revenue, invoicing, budgets, and payment cycles to ensure financial discipline.
  • Support development of account forecasts and growth targets.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations, SLAs, and compliance standards are met.
  • Deliver regular insights and reports on account performance, pipeline status, and risk management.
  • Provide data driven recommendations for optimizing client engagement and commercial performance.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure visibility of all client interactions and opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in account management, client services, or enterprise sales roles.
  • Proven track record in cross selling, upselling, and achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with AI, SaaS, or digital transformation programs preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
