About the Role


As an Account Manager for the Coatings & Construction business at REDA Chemicals Egypt, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening our market position within the coatings, paints, and construction chemicals segment.


This role combines technical understanding with strong commercial skills, requiring familiarity with formulation chemistry and applications in coatings and construction, such as decorative and industrial paints, protective coatings, waterproofing systems, flooring solutions, mortars, and admixtures.


You will be responsible for managing and expanding customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning REDA Chemicals as a trusted technical and commercial partner to manufacturers, applicators, and contractors across Egypt, you will deliver value-added, solution-driven offerings that address customer challenges and support sustainable, profitable growth.


This position is ideal for technically inclined sales professionals with a strong background in specialty chemicals and a passion for developing long-term customer partnerships in the Coatings & Construction market.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers in the Coatings & Construction industry (e.g., paint manufacturers, construction chemicals producers, contractors, and applicators).
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert qualified leads into profitable sales.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify areas for business expansion in Egypt.
  • Promote and sell specialty raw materials such as resins, binders, pigments, fillers, additives, polymers, admixtures, and related solutions for coatings and construction applications.
  • Collaborate with business unit management, supply chain, to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Achieve sales targets, margin objectives, and growth KPIs, in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
  • Represent REDA Chemicals at customer meetings, technical visits, trade shows, and industry events as required.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales specialty chemicals industry
  • Previous working experience with a chemical distribution company or chemical manufacturer is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with market trends and basic regulatory considerations in the coatings and construction chemicals sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage long-term customer relationships with key manufacturers, formulators, applicators, and technical/R&D teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and very good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Very good communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, presentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Egypt, work both indoors and outdoors, and visit customer and manufacturing sites.
  • Candidates should be based in Greater Cairo.
