Account Manager

An independent creative and marketing agency that believes great work comes from strong relationships, clear thinking, and a no-BS approach is looking for an Account Manager to join their team.


This role suits someone who’s naturally organised, proactive, and commercially aware — confident managing relationships, keeping projects moving, and helping great ideas land properly. You’ll play a key role in shaping client partnerships, translating briefs into action, and ensuring work is delivered with clarity, care, and momentum.


You should have a solid understanding of advertising, brand, marketing, and social media, and enjoy working closely with both clients and creative teams.


What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a reliable day-to-day partner
  • Manage retainer and project-based accounts across brand, content, social, and digital
  • Lead client calls, briefings, and presentations with confidence and clarity
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, digital, and production teams
  • Anticipate client needs, flagging risks and opportunities early
  • Support account growth by identifying upsell and additional scope opportunities
  • Help maintain account profitability by tracking budgets, timelines, and deliverables


What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in an agency account management role
  • Strong understanding of advertising, brand, marketing, and social media
  • A confident communicator who builds trust easily with clients and teams
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Calm under pressure, even when timelines are tight
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and retainers
  • Curious, bold, and comfortable challenging when it leads to better work
