Manage and expand relationships with and sales to current target customers as well as to develop relationships with and sales to new target accounts. Responsible for meeting quality objectives as defined by the quality system.

Work with the Sales Manager to develop and implement target accountspecific objectives, strategies, and action plans for Target Account Development (TAD).

Play the leading role in the relationship between Donsco and assigned accounts. Key aspects of this relationship include inhouse support with Plant Managers, Customer Service, Tooling Design, Production Design Team, Quality Assurance, Finance and others.

Increase sales and enhance profits with current target accounts. Develop relationships with new target accounts and obtain new quotation opportunities consistent with Marketing direction.

As part of this account planning process, forecast sales for all assigned accounts.

Maintain and submit a current itinerary showing planned visits as well as office time or plant visitation. NOTE: All office time in excess of one day per week must be accompanies by an agenda of work to be completed. The same process must be followed for plant visitations at Donsco.

Confer with the Sales Manager to maintain an acceptable pricing strategy consistent with the goals of Donsco management.

Work through the Sales Manager and PDT to assure timely submission of quotes and follow with customers/prospects as appropriate to secure new business and/or obtain relevant information on work awarded to competing foundries and machine shops. Work with the Sales Analyst to maintain a file of information showing reasons for lost work as well as details outlining corrections to existing operations that would secure business, if implemented.

Communicate sales calls in written form through our CRM (Customer Relational Management) system.

Work with appropriate personnel to solve quality, delivery and other problems related to current business and new account development in accordance with written procedures.

Monitor customer satisfaction and communicate this information to management.

Maintain an intimate knowledge of the assigned target account requirements for compatible gray and ductile iron castings. Communicate such knowledge to the Sales Manager. This knowledge and information should include technical and commercial trends, customer need and wants, competitive actions and strategies, and target pricing.
