Title: Account Manager - Estimator

The Commercial Roofing Sales and Estimator serves as the company’s primary point of contact for customers—delivering value-driven solutions while contributing to overall sales objectives. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork. Success will be measured through meeting sales targets, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting company-wide initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and handling ladders. Occasional overnight travel is required. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Location: Evansville, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to new customer estimate requests
• Take ownership of measuring, estimating, and selling assigned opportunities
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate roofing solutions based on company offerings
• Perform detailed measurements and ensure accurate documentation of roof data and cost estimates
• Coordinate with the Sales Manager on estimating workload, scheduling, and logistics
• Maintain up-to-date records and notes within the company CRM system
• Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer feedback, and sales challenges
• Complete all required sales documentation and ensure accurate job setup upon sale
• Verify correct job invoicing and assist with timely collection of outstanding payments
• Manage customer issues throughout the sales and installation process, ensuring resolution and satisfaction
• Conduct follow-ups with customers after project completion

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of roofing sales experience and 1+ year of construction estimating (preferred but open to entry-level candidates)
• Associate degree preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience using CRM software preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
