Account Manager / Graphic Designer

Streamline Graphics is a Kansas City print and graphics company specializing in vehicle wraps, wide format printing, vinyl graphics, apparel, and graphic design. We are looking for an Account Manager / Graphic Designer who can own client relationships from first conversation through project completion while producing professional-quality design work.

This is a hands-on role. You will talk directly with customers, prepare quotes, manage orders, coordinate with production staff, and create print-ready artwork. The right person is someone who is just as comfortable picking up the phone and solving a customer's problem as they are building a vehicle wrap layout in Illustrator.

What You Will Do

Account Management (approximately 50% of your time)

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building and maintaining relationships through phone, email, and in-person communication
• Prepare quotes and proposals based on customer needs, following company pricing guidelines
• Enter and manage orders through our project management system
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to keep projects on track and on deadline
• Follow up with customers after project completion to ensure satisfaction and identify future needs
• Proactively reach out to past customers and warm leads to generate repeat business

Graphic Design (approximately 50% of your time)

• Create print-ready artwork for vehicle wraps, wide format prints, vinyl graphics, signs, and business printing
• Prepare and preflight files for production, ensuring correct color profiles, bleed, and resolution
• Adapt customer-provided logos and artwork into production-ready formats
• Design layouts for vehicle wraps and lettering that account for curves, contours, and panel lines
• Collaborate with customers on design revisions and approvals

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe Illustrator (coursework alone does not qualify)
• Demonstrated ability to design for print production, not just digital or web
• Strong communication skills: you can explain design concepts and project timelines to customers who are not designers
• Comfort working directly with customers by phone, email, and in person
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of your work

Preferred (not required, but will set you apart):

• Experience creating vehicle graphics, wraps, or signage artwork
• Experience in inside sales, quoting, or consultative selling
• Familiarity with wide format printing processes, materials, and finishing
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience with project management or order management software
• Background in the sign, print, or vehicle wrap industry

Experience Requirements

• Adobe Illustrator: 2 years (Required)

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
