Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding SRG’s presence within assigned and existing healthcare accounts. This role focuses on new business development and ongoing account management while serving as a trusted partner to healthcare decision makers.
You will work directly with supply chain leaders, clinical stakeholders, and executives to identify procurement challenges and deliver customized, cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new healthcare accounts through cold calling, networking, and lead generation
- Manage and grow an assigned territory and existing account list
- Build strong relationships with hospital and ASC decision-makers
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Maintain long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and continued use of SRG solutions
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess needs and identify growth opportunities
Presentations & Closing
- Conduct virtual meetings to assess client needs
- Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiate and close contracts for surgical supplies, surplus programs, and supply chain services
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and forecasts
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in healthcare, medical device, or medical supply sales
- Experience closing individual accounts or managing complex healthcare accounts
- Ability to sell to mid-level and senior healthcare decision-makers
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience managing the full sales cycle
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- CRM experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field)
Preferred Experience
- Medical device, surgical supply, or healthcare distribution sales
- Healthcare supply chain or hospital procurement experience
