Account Manager, Insurance Lead Platform

Location: Miami, FL (Brickell preferred)

Type: Full-time, Hybrid

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performance Account Manager with an operator mindset and leadership potential, responsible for client onboarding, retention, reactivation, and account growth within an insurance lead distribution platform serving agents and agencies across the United States.

This role is ideal for someone who can quickly build trust, move clients into action, and increase recurring spend, while also leading initiatives to scale accounts and improve the overall client experience.

We are especially interested in candidates who have experience implementing automation and AI tools to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and scale the management of multiple accounts without relying solely on manual work.

You will work directly with the founder and play a key role in transforming a fast-growing lead generation and distribution business into a scalable technology platform with strong client retention.

We also expect this person to have experience leading teams, establishing processes, and helping build a structure that allows the operation to scale quickly.

The role is currently hybrid, with the possibility of working from a Miami office in the future as the team continues to grow. We are looking for someone who is open to collaborating in an in-person environment when the operation requires it.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Onboard new clients within the first 12 hours after registration
  • Drive first purchase, reactivation, and recurring spend
  • Monitor account health and maintain consistent communication with clients
  • Identify churn risks and take proactive action to prevent account loss
  • Upsell clients from Starter plans to Growth and Scale tiers

Automation & Optimization

  • Implement automation and AI solutions to improve onboarding, follow-ups, and retention
  • Build systems that allow efficient management of multiple accounts
  • Identify manual processes and transform them into scalable automated workflows

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with operations and tech teams to quickly resolve lead delivery issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized CRM, ensuring leads are properly assigned to their stages
  • Ensure fast response times to clients and leads, ideally within 30 minutes
  • Generate weekly account performance reports

Client Relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
  • Conduct occasional in-person meetings with clients in Miami or South Florida
  • Occasionally travel to other states to strengthen relationships with important accounts

Leadership

  • Support the development of internal account management processes
  • Lead or coordinate small teams when necessary
  • Help build a scalable account management operation

Nature of the Role & Availability

Our platform operates every day, and clients may activate accounts at different times. Because of this, we are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership and operational responsibility.

This role requires flexibility beyond traditional office hours when needed, including:

  • Occasional support outside of normal business hours
  • Monitoring or responding to urgent situations during evenings or weekends
  • The ability to react quickly when high-value accounts require attention

This does not mean working all the time, but it does require an operator mindset and a willingness to step in when the business needs it.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Faster activation of new accounts
  • Reduced time to first purchase
  • Increased recharge rates from existing clients
  • More upgrades into higher-value plans
  • Significant reduction in churn
  • Higher client satisfaction and retention
  • Increasingly automated and efficient operational processes

Requirements

  • Native or near-native English
  • Fluent Spanish
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B Sales
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and move quickly
  • Experience working with insurance agents or agencies
  • Experience implementing automation or AI tools to improve business processes
  • Previous experience leading teams or projects

Preferred Location: Miami or South Florida

Nice to Have

  • Experience in insurance, lead generation, SaaS, fintech, or call center environments
  • Experience working with CRMs, automation tools, or workflow systems
  • A Florida insurance license is a plus, but not required

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
  • Variable compensation tied to account growth, retention, and upgrades
  • Strong income potential based on performance
  • Clear path toward leadership roles
