How You’ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions)


The Account Manager-New Markets is responsible for the management of sales and relationships with healthcare and community partners. The Account Manager maintains the company's existing relationships, seeks to grow new business, and is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating sales activities within the diverse communities we serve. They are responsible for enhancing visibility for Agrace resulting in patient, volunteer, and referrals across the full continuum of Agrace services in the New Market. Through personal relationships and marketing, the Account Manager is directly responsible for ensuring that all eligible patients have access to all Agrace services.


Key Responsibilities


Outreach/Relationship Building:

  • Initiate contact with clinical and community leaders and key stakeholders to introduce Agrace’s continuum of services and convey our value proposition.
  • Maintain regular in person contact with assigned accounts and respond promptly.
  • Request a commitment from referral sources to give Agrace an opportunity to be a hospice partner.
  • Identify and recommend areas of opportunity for Agrace where community and clinical partnerships may be enhanced.
  • Represent and network on behalf of Agrace at community and clinical events, which may include weekends and evenings.
  • Develop strong working relationships with new market homecare staff and report customer concerns to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Meet all goals established for Account Manager within a new market which can include referrals, admissions, visits, and contracted partners.

Education:


  • Promote and provide educational presentations to all audiences.
  • Attend public events to provide information on Agrace services.
  • Provide and/or coordinate annual in-services for assigned accounts and community partners.

Other Duties:


  • Participate in admissions and help ensure admission team has information needed.
  • Stay updated on referral sources while identifying potential new referral sources.
  • Document all activities in sales/marketing software (Salesforce).

You Bring (Qualifications)


  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare sales or related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Bilingual (Spanish) candidates preferred.

  • Knowledge of healthcare partner operations including clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities
  • Demonstrated success in clinical sales/marketing with a strong sense of developing and maintaining relationships.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Orientation to detail and proven excellent follow-through
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property.
  • Ability to use proper body mechanics and standard precautions.
