About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager – Field Sales to join our growing team in Chennai. In this field-facing role, you will be responsible for driving membership sales for Alibaba, nurturing existing client relationships, and acquiring new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a strong sales acumen, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for helping businesses grow through digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prospect, qualify, and generate new sales leads through field visits, networking, and outbound efforts.

· Sell Alibaba membership packages by understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions.

· Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring high retention and satisfaction.

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, guidance, and strategic recommendations.

· Resolve client queries promptly and ensure they receive accurate, timely updates on their accounts and services.

· Identify opportunities to enhance client profitability and service experience through value-added suggestions.

· Prepare and submit detailed daily sales reports to the Senior Manager, including pipeline updates, closed deals, and client feedback.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless on boarding and service delivery for New clients.

· Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets while upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

· 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in digital platforms, SaaS, e-commerce, or membership-based services.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.

· Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative sales approach.
